The Chamber Summer Meeting taking place later this month will feature a networking walk, a new addition for this year allowing attendees to make new connections whilst enjoying the morning sun.

Taking place on Friday, June 28, from 7:30am to 11am at Stanwick Lakes, NN9 6GY, the meeting is open to Chamber Members, business representatives and local stakeholders. Click here to book your place now.

Kicking off at 7:30am, the networking walk will allow attendees to talk to like-minded business people as you discover the picturesque venue, Stanwick Lakes. Chamber Executive Committee Member and Trust Director at Stanwick Lakes, Billie will guide you around the nature reserve and countryside attraction and will share some of the great work the team have been doing at Stanwick Lakes. Anyone wishing to join the networking walk will need to meet at the visitor centre for 7:30am.

Those who do not wish to attend network and walk are encouraged to arrive by 8:15am for networking and a light breakfast before the speakers take to the stage at 8:45am. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Glennis Hooper, Founder of The Crazy Hats Appeal, is unable to make it to the meeting. To replace her speaker slot, new Chamber President Donna French will give an extended welcome and introduction. Donna will use this time to discuss what she hopes to achieve as President, detail free support available to local businesses and her role as Centre Manager at Rushden Lakes.

Following Donna’s session, Samantha Hunter, Partnership and Events Manager at SEM Growth Hub, will talk attendees through the wide range of opportunities available via the SEM Growth Hub for local businesses before Adam Kaplan, Founder of Pendragon Protect, takes to the stage to share his extensive experience and expertise on protecting your business and personal life from financial loss.

This year’s Chamber Summer Meeting is set to shine a light on opportunities and offer expert advice for local businesses based in Wellingborough, East Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas. The Wellingborough Chamber of Commerce invites all interested individuals to attend the Summer Meeting, where expertise, opportunities and community collaboration will take centre stage.
