This year’s Chamber Summer Meeting is set to shine a light on opportunities and offer expert advice for local businesses based in Wellingborough, East Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas.

Taking place on Friday, June 28, from 8am to 11am at Stanwick Lakes, NN9 6GY, the meeting is open to Chamber Members, business representatives and local stakeholders. Click here to book your place now.

New for this year, the Summer Meeting will kick off a networking walk around the picturesque venue, Stanwick Lakes, led by Chamber Executive Committee Member and Trust Director at Stanwick Lakes, Billie Billie will guide attendees around the nature reserve and countryside attraction and will share some of the great work the team have been doing at Stanwick Lakes. Anyone wishing to join the networking walk will need to meet at the visitor centre for 7:30am.

Following the networking walk and a light breakfast, the new Chamber President, Donna French, will welcome attendees and introduce the three exciting speakers.

Samantha Hunter, Partnership and Events Manager at SEM Growth Hub will talk through business support available. She said: “The South East Midlands (SEM) Growth Hub are delighted to join the Summer Meeting for 2024 to share all things Business Support. You will hear about the breadth of fully funded support available to you as a Northamptonshire based business including current funding opportunities open to you and how you can access them. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask our expert team about challenges you may be facing and how we can support you to overcome them.”

Adam Kaplan, Founder of Pendragon Protect, will then take to the stage to share his expertise, put insurance into perspective and demonstrate how to protect your business and personal life from financial loss in the event of death or illness. The presentation will also feature an interactive surprise!

We will then be joined by Glennis Hooper, Founder of The Crazy Hats Appeal, to talk us through her journey of founding ‘Crazy Hats’, including her book, the development of the charity, working with and learning from businesses in the process of building a charity up and raising the profile of both business and the charity.
