The deadline to submit your entries for our 2023 Chamber Business Awards has been extended to Thursday, November 9. Enter the Business Awards here.
The Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards ceremony, celebrating commercial success, is set to take place on Wednesday, December 6 at Harrowden Hall, Wellingborough Golf Club. The shortlisted finalists will be announced beforehand.
The awards are open to all businesses across the Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire area and those that show a ‘significant commercial interest’ in the area, not just existing Chamber members.
Chamber President, Pritesh Ganatra, said: “A big thank you to all of the businesses that have already entered, we have received some fantastic entries so far!
“We believe in giving every deserving business the opportunity to shine, and this deadline extension allows for just that.
“Don’t miss out on your chance to be celebrated for your outstanding contributions. Submit your entry now and give your business the recognition it deserves.”
Businesses must demonstrate excellence, specifically how they have made a pioneering approach to business as well as showing a commitment to furthering the prosperity of the area. This year, there are five categories up for grabs.
- Services Business of the Year – Celebrating an outstanding business that provides a skilled service or expertise to customers.
- Retail Business of the Year – Celebrating an exceptional business that provides goods directly to consumers.
- Industry Award – Celebrating an engineering and manufacturing business that has demonstrated significant contribution to the area’s manufacturing industry.
- Chamber Community Award – Celebrating a charity or business that has a significant community impact and/or contribution.
- Excellence Award – Celebrating a business going above and beyond for its employees, customers and/or the community.
A number of exciting sponsorship opportunities are still available for the Business Awards. Sponsorship of the awards is open to businesses of all sizes based in Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire or those with involvement in the area. The Community Award category is still available to sponsor for £100 and the option to sponsor the whole awards programme for £300 is still available.

- logo placement on all awards materials and marketing literature
- an opportunity to present your business at the awards ceremony
- leaflet drop on chairs at the ceremony.
The Industry Award is being sponsored by SEMLEP’s Growth Hub, the Services Business of the Year category is being sponsored by Wine Chateau, the Retail Business of the Year category is being sponsored by Nene Valley Crematorium and the Excellence Award is being sponsored by Weatherbys.
