Those interested in becoming a Chamber Committee member or finding out more about getting involved are invited to a Q&A session taking place next week on Wednesday, October 25.
The Q&A is set to take place at 6pm on Wednesday, October 25 at Travelodge Wellingborough (formally Ibis Hotel) on the A45 McDonalds / The Priory Pub Roundabout.
If you are a Chamber member who is interested in joining the Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce Committee, please RSPV by emailing Chamber President, Pritesh Ganatra, at pritesh.ganatra@btsuk.net.
Pritesh Ganatra explains: “The Wellingborough and East Northants Chamber of Commerce has grown so much over the past few years, as seen in 2019 expanding to the East Northamptonshire area, and so many businesses have been helped by the Committee.
“This year, we are looking for individuals to join us in continuing this tradition of representing our members and to help organise and run the activities and events that you may have attended over the past two years.”
The Wellingborough and East Northants Chamber of Commerce (WENCC) has issued a call to members to consider filling a number of posts on the Executive Committee that have arisen following retirements.
There are several roles within the Chamber Executive Committee yet the current roles that need filling are Secretary, Finance Secretary, Events, and Newsletter Writer.
As a committee member, you will be involved in the day-to-day management of the Chamber’s affairs and will be working closely with prominent figures within the local community such as councillors and politicians within local and central government.
Upon being founded over 75 years ago, the Chamber was formed to represent the interests and aspirations of local businesses and has efficiently done so even during these recent challenging times.
Since 1932, there has been a strong sense of community amongst businesses and organisations in the Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire region, which has been backed up by a voluntary committee to be the voice of the membership.
If you would like to know more about the Chamber and get involved, RSPV by contacting Pritesh Ganatra here and come along to the upcoming meeting to find out more. We look forward to seeing you there!
