Creating Tomorrow College, a Specialist Post 16 Institution (SPI) in Wellingborough, is hosting an employer morning later this month as part of its mission to address the employment deficit for adults with learning needs.
On Thursday, 15 June, at 9:30am, Creating Tomorrow College is holding an event to encourage current employers to meet its students and become one of its employment providers. The event will take place at The Chester House Estate in Irchester, Wellingborough, NN8 2DH.
The employer morning will involve a presentations from Creating Tomorrow College and external organisations. Attendees will be able to grab themselves a cup of tea or coffee and a cake before taking a tour of the site, finding out more about the College’s supported internship programme and meeting some of its current employment providers.

A representative of the College explained: “We wholeheartedly believe that our students and young adults are more than capable of not only gaining and maintaining employment, but also being an incredible asset to any employer.
“We recognise that to achieve this we need to not only up-skill our students and young adults, but also support employers to become disability confident, so they are able to reap the rewards of an untapped workforce.”
