In conjunction with the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), Tresham College in Wellingborough is inviting you to a sector specific information event later this month.

On Tuesday, 28 March at 3.00pm to 5.00pm, Tresham College will hold the event followed by the official opening of the campus and opportunities to network and ‘have a go’ at some of the skills training available at the campus between 5.00pm and 6.30pm.

The College said: “Come and meet our staff and students, hear from Robin Webber-Jones, Principal at Tresham College, and get the chance to test your skills in our ‘have a go’ sessions in sectors such as Health Care, Carpentry, Motor Vehicle, Digital Technology, Sciences and Electrical.”

What is the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP)

Funded by the Department for Education (DfE), Local Skills Improvement Plans were introduced as a key part of the Government’s vision of an adult skills system where businesses are given a much stronger voice in local skills planning.

Has your business had challenges upskilling your current workforce or do you simply have ideas how employers and training providers can work collaboratively? This is your chance to share your experience and help generate change.

Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire Chamber are the Designated Lead for the development of the LSIP for our region.
