Registrations are now open to attend this year’s Wellingborough and East Northants Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
All businesses across Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire, and those that show a ‘significant commercial interest’ in the area, are invited to the awards ceremony.
The free event will take place on Wednesday, December 7, from 8.00am – 10.00am. It will be hosted by the Chamber at Wellingborough Golf Club, Harrowden Hall, Great Harrowden, NN9 5AD.
Nomination entries closed last month on Friday, September 30. The shortlist will be revealed later this year on Wednesday, December 1.
There are five categories up for grabs this year:
- Services Business of the Year
- Retail Business of the Year
- Industry Award
- Chamber Community Award
- Excellence Award
The awards celebrate commercial success and have returned this year following an absence in 2021 due to the global pandemic.
Chamber President, Pritesh Ganatra, said: “After the global pandemic halted last year’s awards, we are delighted to be back and ready to praise businesses in the area with five categories, including this year’s Excellence Hero award.
“For the Excellence Hero Award, we are looking for businesses, charities, and organisations who have supported their customers, other businesses, and any local community services during the pandemic, especially during the full lockdown periods experienced over the past two years.”
He added: “We feel privileged to be able to provide businesses in our towns and villages with this wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate their success and hard work.”
