An innovative free digital platform puts everything North Northamptonshire has to offer right at customers’ fingertips whilst promoting local businesses and events.
More than 2,000 people have already downloaded the DiscoverNN app and more than 300 local businesses have signed up to the platform.
The marketplace website and app features shopping, tourism, events and business. It makes discovering and connecting with the local area quick and easy.
According to North Northamptonshire Council: “It is completely free to join and is a great opportunity for your business to showcase all it has to offer, sell products and services, promote events and experiences, and engage with new and existing customers.
“DiscoverNN uses the latest proven technology providing your business with easy registration, a business-driven interface, and updates and metrics to help boost sales.”
The platform enables organisations to easily increase their visibility and gain new customers from the local area and beyond.
Once businesses are registered, they are encouraged to add events, special offers and discounts to the platform. People can then “discover them easily from the palm of their hand”.
The app allows users to scroll through and take advantage of all local events, attractions, shops, pubs, exclusive offers and discounts.
Users are also able to share local North Northamptonshire businesses and help them be discovered by others.
