The brand-new mobile application and website, DiscoverNN, will feature offers and services available throughout North Northamptonshire to help residents and tourists connect with local businesses.
DiscoverNN (Discover North Northants) was officially launched to businesses on Tuesday, March 8. There are plans to launch to the public by the end of March once there are a suitable number of businesses registered.
North Northamptonshire Council partnered with technology provider, Bubltown, to design and produce the platform. It was funded by the Government’s Welcome Back Fund, set up to boost and support local businesses, tourist attractions, and high streets.
The ‘game changing’ platform will feature businesses related to shopping, eating out, tourism, culture, and the arts.
It will include:
- theatres
- country parks
- leisure facilities
- sports
- historic buildings
- walking trails
- community groups
- charities
- voluntary organisations
- events
- and more…
After creating their own profile on the app and website for free, North Northamptonshire businesses will have a direct route to reaching thousands of new and existing customers. It will make it quick and simple for customers to find and connect with businesses.
It will be the go-to place for people to organise days out at North Northamptonshire’s tourist attractions, buy products and tickets, and access exclusive discounts. They will also have access to upcoming events in towns and villages, book tickets, and get involved.
The scale of DiscoverNN and its significance in day-to-day life in North Northamptonshire will set it apart and guarantee its success.
