Addressing the challenges of climate change will be the focus of three forthcoming meetings being hosted by Wellingborough Town Council and the Wellingborough Climate Action Project.

Residents, businesses, community groups and schools in Wellingborough are invited to attend the workshops to learn how they can implement small changes to help combat climate change.

Entitled ‘Climate Conversations in Wellingborough’, the sessions will take place on Saturday, March 5 between 10am and 12pm, Friday, March 11 between 10am and 12pm and Wednesday, March 16 between 7pm and 9pm.

The key learning points will include understanding the challenges and impacts of climate change, examining how climate change is currently managed and exploring what can be done to further reduce climate change in the town.

The Wellingborough Climate Action Project stated: “The threats of climate change can seem so overwhelming, but for our town and communities the reality of changes we will all need to make a call on each of us to act.”

Hybrid access is available for each event, meaning people can choose whether to take part in the sessions from home or in person.

In addition, registered delegates who are unable to attend the sessions will be able to access the recordings of each meeting.
