AFC Rushden & Diamonds is inviting Chamber members to help support the community-centred club to ‘kick on’ in the 2021/2022 season.
As part of preparations for the up-coming season the club is offering Wellingborough and East Northants Chamber of Commerce members a 10 per cent discount for the coming season on programme adverts or stadium perimeter boards.
Local businesses can also get involved by sponsoring one or more of the Academy team’s home or away kit for the coming season.
John Gregory, Commercial Director, said:“We are so much looking forward to the new Southern League Premier season. Our first team squad is back in training and pre-friendlies planned in readiness for the start of the league season on Saturday 14thAugust. Notwithstanding the early rounds of the Emirates FA Cup during the first weeks of the season. How about the BBC cameras at Hayden Road?
“As a supporters owned community club and no one benefactor, we do need to generate additional advertising and sponsorship revenue from outside sources.
“The next year will be challenging both financially and operationally. We will remain prudent and sustainable, whilst continuing to provide a safe and welcoming experience for players and supporters across all our venues.”
Prices for Wellingborough and East Northants Chamber of Commerce members are as follows:
John added: “We are very grateful for the financial support in the past year. Whether through the Government furlough scheme, the Football Association as part of the DCMS Winter Survival Package or from East Northamptonshire Council and their discretionary grants.”
The club’s Academy is flourishing attracting, retaining and developing some of the best local talent aged six to 21 years old. The club is also growing their partnership with Moulton College offering Further Education and Higher Education Scholarship programmes.
John said: “Our plans for a new home are progressing at a pace whereby we will soon be able to announce exciting new details. It will provide a blend of high-quality football, community, and business facilities.
“As a community club all our assets are protected by a community asset lock which protects the facilities. Has there been a better time for local businesses to help support YOUR supporters owned community club?
