About this Event
Do you run a project that supports local people to get on in life?
If you can help people to build confidence and overcome barriers that can block them from getting into training or paid work, the Community Grants programme could help you.
The Community Grants programme offers Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations grant funding from £10,000 to £20,000 to deliver projects that make a difference within local communities in the South East Midlands.
Unlike many other grant funding schemes, Community Grants can cover 100% of your project costs so no match-funding is required.
Interested? The South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) is holding two free webinars to help people find out more about the programme, eligibility, the application process and delivery.
Richard Cook, SEMLEP Business Development Manager, said: “For round five, we are particularly looking for projects that can deliver learning online or projects that can be delivered in line with the government COVID-19 guidelines – Targeting unemployed and those who have recently been made redundant, particularly those that are 50+.
“As with previous rounds, to help organisations understand the funding, eligibility and the application process, we are holding two information webinars. We strongly advise that anyone thinking of applying for the funding attends one of these events.”
