With businesses across the Nene Valley facing ongoing disruption, the Destination Nene Valley (DNV) partnership is rolling out a variety of business support activities to help those in need get back on their feet and make the most of the ‘new normal’.
Over the coming weeks the DNV partnership, led by East Northamptonshire Council, will be releasing a range of content via its social media channels, as well as useful blog posts, webinars and a series of podcasts at www.nenevalley.net.
With the Nene Valley Festival for 2020 cancelled due to the pandemic, the team were keen to still do something extra to support businesses. Usually a podcast series is created to highlight the festival and local businesses, and so the team have adapted this year to create a ‘new normal’ series of podcasts.
The podcasts are being released over the next couple of weeks and during the course of the season, the team will be engaging with a range of local businesses, support organisations and industry figures to get the lowdown on the work they do whilst providing a range of useful advice for businesses to take advantage of.
Cllr Sarah Peacock, Deputy Chair of the Destination Nene Valley project and East Northamptonshire Councillor said: “At ENC, we are currently supporting businesses in a variety of ways and with the DNV partnership having run a series of successful webinars earlier in the year, this seemed like the natural next step.
“Across the series, there will be something for everyone including an interview with support organisation, Building Business, and how Oundle International Festival replicated this year’s festival in a virtual environment.
“We do encourage you to have a listen and hopefully the series will help local businesses at this difficult time.”
All episodes can be found on your usual podcast streaming site or you can listen via the nenevalley.net website.
