Hundreds of people attended the Wellingborough Waendel Beer Festival at the weekend.
The annual three-day event, organised by the Wellingborough Chamber of Commerce, was hailed another success with more than 600 visitors enjoying a wide range of real ales and ciders from local and national micro breweries.
Wines and soft drinks were also on offer as well as BBQ food and live music at the event, which coincided with the 40th anniversary of the ever-popular Waendel Walk.
Revellers attended All Saints Church Hall in Midland Road from 4pm to midnight on Thursday, May 9 and midday to midnight on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11.
Organiser and chamber executive committee member Alan Piggot said: “The beer festival was an amazing success, we sold out at ten to midnight on Saturday.
“Hundreds attended and our sponsors were brilliant, we want to thank all those involved in any way who helped to make this event a success.”
Entertainment, sponsored by Crosby Composites, was provided by Blud Group, a ukulele band from Barton Seagrave, Toadie/Song and The Skalanders. Glasses were sponsored by The Coach and Horses pub, Evans Cooke Solicitors and The Little Ale House.
