Job hunters will be given the opportunity to meet potential employers at a jobs fair taking place at Rushden lakes on Tuesday, September 25.
From 10am until 2pm people will be able to browse vacancies in a marquee located in the space between L’Occitan and Fat Face.
.The fair is being held as part of the Recruit Rushden Lakes initiative which is a free recruitment programme set up by The Crown Estate, which owns Rushden Lakes, to connect the workforce in the area to new jobs.
Speaking to the Northants Telegraph, Paul Rich, centre manager at Rushden Lakes, said: “Recruit Rushden Lakes works with employers and agencies – including the town’s Job Centre Plus – to match local job seekers with vacancies, provide businesses with skilled, job-ready candidates and also offer ongoing support including training programmes and workplace mentoring.
“Recruit Rushden Lakes is a part of The Crown Estate’s commitment to supporting and working within the community. “The initiative helps connect talented people with the right roles and helps our retail and restaurant businesses at Rushden Lakes to find and train the staff they need.
