Wellingborough pump manufacturers, CDR Pumps (UK) Ltd, recently celebrated 20 years of trading.
The company, located in Morris Close on the Park Farm Industrial Estate, first opened its doors in 1998 after previously trading through a distribution channel.
Over the past twenty years, the company has gone from strength to strength.
A statement about the 20th anniversary on the company’s website says: “There have been times of economic uncertainty but we have worked hard to push through and bring you a company which has the knowledge, experience and line-up to support the chemical, nuclear and pharmaceutical industries on a global scale.
“During the past twenty years CDR UK has gone from a young engineer bringing CDR’s range of pumps to the UK, to a company big enough to pro-actively support multi-site, multi-national blue chip chemical companies – our holistic approach provides you with a complete, all-round service from initial enquiry throughout the entire specification and sales process, installation and most importantly after sales service and support.
“We are not just a pump manufacturer – we are your long-term pump partner, we are here to help you make the right choice when choosing your fluid handling solutions and we are here to help you improve your site’s reliability and efficiency now and in the future. We want you and your team to be safe, we want to ensure that our planet is safe and we want to keep your processes running as reliably and efficiently as possible to ensure your costs are minimised to maximise your bottom line profits.”
An open day, held to celebrate the company’s birthday on Thursday, 5th July, provided the perfect opportunity to thank customers and suppliers for their continued support.
People had the opportunity to watch demonstrations of the new electronically operated Double Diaphragm Pump and the company’s very own brand new solids handling mag drive pump, a huge leap forward in fluid handling technology.
