Beer lovers will get a chance to sample a large range of their favourite tipple at the forthcoming Wellingborough Waendel Beer Festival.
Local micro-breweries and national outlets will be ensuring festival-goers remain thirst free across the three-day event, which starts on Thursday, May 11.
Entertainment is available across the entire weekend, with the Wellingborough Chamber of Commerce laying on an afternoon of live acoustic music on Saturday, May 13. Singer songwriters Jacob Brathwaite, Beth Parker, Dunn wiv Whiskey and Paul Strummer (host), will take to the stage from 3pm.
The festival has been sponsored by Evanscook Solicitors, Nigel Davis property services and Wellingborough’s award winning pub – The Coach & Horses.
The event opens on Thursday, 11 May from 4pm to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 12noon to midnight. Entry costs £5.00 per day and includes a free pint, a souvenir beer glass and full colour programme. BBQ food will also be available.
Other options include a 2/3 day ticket for £8.00, which includes two free pints plus one souvenir beer glass and full colour programme.

Saturday 8pm – 11.30pm Hire’em Fire’em – Great R’n’B band playing three sets throughout the evening.
