The investment interest on a retail development, which has created more than 100 new jobs, has been successfully sold.
The Wellingborough Retail Park in London Road, comprises approximately 35,200 square feet, including a Lidl supermarket of 22,500 square feet, a 4,000 square foot drive-thru McDonalds Restaurant and four 2,171 square feet retail units let to Starbucks, HSL & Subway – with the last unit under offer.
Simon Toseland, a Director of Prop-Search, responsible for the initial vision and deliverance of the project said: “This development reused a redundant brownfield site through the expertise of the regeneration specialist St Modwen and delivered a fitting landmark development at the entrance to Wellingborough.
“ It complements surrounding schemes including Castlefields Retail Park and the new LoknStore development at Victoria Retail Park; also initiated through our Wellingborough team.”
He added: “We are delighted that this project has now been successfully completed some five years after inception’.
