Family-owned food retailer, Heron Foods, has applied for permission to install signage on a unit in Gold Street.
The unit situated next to the Barnardo’s charity shop, has been earmarked for the store, which will sell frozen and chilled foods as well other products.
The company, which already boasts 240 shops throughout the North and Midlands, has applied for consent to put up three illuminated signs and has recruited for the post of store manager online.
The application for consent to display advertising at the new store will be considered by Wellingborough Council’s planning committee.
