Earlier this year, the Big Lottery Fund announced their intention to match funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to provide investment in Northamptonshire for projects that promote social inclusion and tackle deprivation by driving growth and creating local jobs.
At the end of November, stage one applicants (partnership-led consortia) that bid to the £3 million funding to support people most in need of developing skills and overcoming barriers to work, education and training, were announced.
These are The Consultancy Home Counties Limited, University of Northampton and Goodwill Solutions Community Interest Company.
These applicants will now be invited to develop their ‘Building Better Opportunities’ submission to stage two of the bidding process.
