A proposal has been put together by five Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP) to secure over £80m of funding to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Wellingborough.
The five LEPs that serve the South East and East have commissioned research into an outline proposal to support SME access to finance in this area.
Leicester and Leicestershire, D2N2, Greater Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and SEMLEP are hoping to get the views of people that operate in the business, professional and financial services sector.
Research is being carried out by Blue Sky Corporate Finance in the form of a survey.
It is hoped that the results of the survey will allow a clearer picture to be painted as to what gaps there are in the private sector in terms of finance for SMEs and how funding could help overcome them.
A spokesperson for the Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership said: “Input is invaluable and will help to shape the nature and size of the funding interventions in the region for many years to come.
“The survey is anonymous. No individual will be identified and responses will only be viewed in aggregate.”
You can take part in the research by completing this short survey before the end of Friday, October 9 here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/leptestgroup.
