wellMore than 35 real ales, ciders and wines will be available at this year’s Wellingborough Beer Festival.

The three day event, organised by the Wellingborough Chamber of Commerce, kicks off on Thursday, 24, September and will take place at All Saints Church Hall on Midland Road.

Festival attendees will not only get a chance to sample a huge selection of different drinks, but will also be entertained by local bands.

Shannodore has been lined up to play on Thursday evening with Dr Busker & his Village Idiots playing on the Friday.

Paul Strummer’s Accoustic Sessions will take place throughout Saturday afternoon, followed by Hire ‘Em Fire ‘Em playing in the headline slot that night.

Entrance is £5 per day and includes a free pint, a souvenir beer glass and a programme of the weekend’s events.

For revellers who wish to attend the entire event two and three day tickets can be purchased for £8 and include two free pints.

Wines and soft drinks will also be available and barbecue food will be served each day.
