Visitors have one more week to make the most of the pop up beach in Wellingborough town centre.
The temporary sand structure, which was set up in Market Street at the beginning of the month, will be dismantled on Sunday, August 30.
The 130-square metre beach has been organised by the Wellingborough Business Improvement District (BID), which is paid for by businesses and works to promote the town centre through the Discover Wellingborough campaign.
To complete the seaside experience, Wellingborough rock is on sale for only £1 and there are also deckchairs.
John Cable, BID manager, said: “Our seaside scene has been massively successful. We are more than 70 miles away from the closest beach so families can get a taste of the beach in their very own town centre.
“We believe the idea has helped boost trade within the town centre, reminding people of all the fantastic things Wellingborough has to offer.”
