The Hind Hotel is under new ownership with major plans underway to revamp the historic venue.
New owner and general manager Ian Hamilton has promised an extensive refurbishment throughout the hotel, based in Wellingborough’s Sheep Street, and has already injected some much needed revitalisation into the famous bar, Cromwell’s.
Ian said: “I’m looking forward to a full restoration, renovation and rebirth of this iconic centre piece of Wellingborough.”
He plans to fully embraces all the rumours that friendly ghosts live among the guests.
The hotel gas 34 clean and comfortable ensuite rooms. Cromwell’s Bar serves the finest in English pub fare and real ales, Oliver’s Cafe has a range of traditional sandwiches, cakes, coffees and teas, while the restaurant offers a Sunday carvery of British roasts with all the trimmings.
It has four historic wedding and events function rooms, offering a civil wedding license for marriages on-site. There is also fast WiFi throughout the venue at no charge and limited free parking.
