The Chamber has been concerned for some time about the limited ambitions for growth for Wellingborough over the next 20 years. Will it keep pace with its neighbours? Will the number of jobs lost to the town per year continue? The Council has announced that progress is being made with Stanton Cross – development to the east of the town – which we fully support, however, we don’t consider that this goes far enough.
