The scheme is a 60 bed care home which will provide specialist Elderly and Dementia residential care on the site of the former Duke of York public house located at the junction of Northampton Road and the Kingsway where the Northampton based care home provider Avery Healthcare Ltd propose a landmark building on the western gateway into Wellingborough. The elderly of Wellingborough will benefit hugely from the provision of high quality care in a care home constructed and finished to the highest standards. The care home will provide an immediate boost to the Wellingborough economy as soon as the £3.5m construction project commences followed by the long term benefit a new large scale Employer will bring to the residents and businesses of Wellingborough.
