Two more Ambassadors for Wellingborough

Wellingborough Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that two more prominent members of the Wellingborough business community have agreed to become Ambassadors for the Borough.

Chris Fry, Operations Director at a newly established business – the Paper Pallet Company on Sinclair Drive, Park Farm is a new Ambassador. The Paper Pallet Co has designed and now manufactures a range of paper pallets made from 100% recycled paper which after use can also be recycled.

Chris commented ‘I think that the Wellingborough Ambassador scheme is a great idea for the local area. It will help promote the Borough and all the businesses within – including ours! I’m looking forward to working with other Ambassadors to create a positive image for Wellingborough’

David Clingo, Director at Think3e a Wellingborough based environmental social enterprise and one of the largest in the country is also becoming an Ambassador.  David has been involved in the waste and environmental sector within Wellingborough for many years and he was keen to become involved in the Ambassador Scheme to promote Wellingborough and also help local businesses to reduce their carbon footprint.

There are now 21 Wellingborough Ambassadors from a wide range of organisations and sectors. The Ambassador Programme seeks to bring together companies within Wellingborough to investigate shared issues and formulate responses and to promote the area as a place to locate, invest and grow.
