Christmas Light switch on a great success

The Wellingborough Christmas lights were turned on at 5pm on Saturday 3rd December in front of a packed town centre!

The event was promoted through a ‘Discover Wellingborough’ campaign which included Radio advertising with Connect FM, Newspaper Adverts and editorial through the Eventing Telegraph, and online and Social Media. The target audience, 75,000 local residents and employees were encouraged to spend £10 in any of the 415 BID area shops and receive a voucher that would enter them into a FREE draw for a £1,000 prize. The draw was made on the night and one lucky winner was drawn to receive £1,000 this week. The event was enhanced by an appearance from the Peter Pan show who are performing at the Castle Theatre, choirs and dance shows and a speech from the Mayor of Wellingborough, Councillor Patel.
